Interested in supporting and making a difference to the local community?

The Community Council is the first tier of local government. Members are registered electors who care about Bassaleg, Rhiwderin & Lower Machen, wanting to bring the community together, enhance local services and address local issues.

We currently have Councillor vacancies on the Council. These vacancies can be fulfilled by co-option.

We are looking for residents with knowledge in finance, project management, event organisation and campaign management and want to make a difference to our local area.
